News flash: You live on the same side of town as the Oxford Billiards Club, or Night Town, as those clowns call themselves now.  The only place worse would be in Campus Walk or University Commons, or on campus.  My snobbery about any number of things can be unreasonable and close-minded - Walgreen's, for example; Dean showed me the light on that one - but when it comes to West Oxford, the verdict is in: a big fat Bronx cheer.

Oh, and Dean, remember me telling you about this guy that is supposedly in my law school class whose nickname is Wagon, who's from State?  Well, I'm sitting in Tax today, and some guy who I had seen around but never known a name walks up and sits down a few seats down from me.  My friend Joey, sitting next to me, says, "Hey, Wagon."  That's right.  I sit two seats away from the poser, and will for the whole semester, unless he drops the class.  Here's the kicker: his real name is Charles.  No shit.  I haven't decided what to do about this yet.  I may seek livejournal counsel.

So, Pizza Den is being forced to move to WEST STARKVILLE?!  Dude, that sucks.  I mean, granted its awesome that they are not dead....lots of good memories of that place, and I can still get my roast beef and gravy when I visit, but West Oxford?  Charles, I assure you it is not snobby...you must have standards, and not driving past the Beer Barn over there was one of mine.  Unless I was going to Travis' new house...but that was passing through.

Walgreen's is great.  I miss it.  We only have CVS up here, and they don't have the cool photo machine that Walgreens does....plus the very very good selection of drinks (non-alcoholic ones).  It seems like the type of place you'd want to boycott....like Wal-Mart....don't be fooled, its at the top of its game.  And I say if someone corporate plays their game well, cheers to them.

I've wasted a good 20 minutes now at work....maybe I can find some other extra-cirricular activities before my boss gets here.

WHOA, Dean, guess what?  Remember that time I said I quit smoking, but started back after 3 days.  Well, I've quit for 2 weeks now....and counting.  I hate the taste of smoke now.  We'll see!

i am also sorry to hear that our a-frame is on your least favorite side of town, dean.  gosh.
